Pactile™ Submission & Production Standards
Helping us create the best possible keepsake, every time
Every Pactile Expression begins with a unique paw, nose, or other meaningful detail from a beloved pet. Our production process transforms these captures into dimensional keepsakes that preserve the textures and characteristics that make each pet one of a kind.
To ensure accuracy, consistent quality, and timely production, we ask our partners to follow the standards below.
1. What to Include With Every Submission
A complete submission helps us begin production without unnecessary delays.
Please include:
Case or Order ID: A unique identifier matching your internal records
Pet Name & Personalization: Confirm the correct spelling of the pet's name and any additional approved personalization
Product Size: Select the standard 5 × 7-inch Pactile or an approved custom size
Source Images: Provide clear photographs of the paw, nose, ink print, or other approved feature being reproduced
Size Reference: Include the measurement or reference method specified by Textured Memories to ensure accurate scaling
Order Details: Confirm all selected options, preferences, and special instructions
Before submitting: Verify that the images, pet information, and selected products all belong to the correct case.
2. Capturing Quality Images
The quality of the original capture directly affects the detail we can preserve in the finished Pactile.
Capture the Entire Feature
Keep the paw pads, toes, nose edges, or other important anatomical features fully visible. Avoid cropping or covering areas needed for accurate reconstruction.
Focus on Fine Details
Sharp, detailed photographs are essential.
When viewed at full size, the natural texture of the paw, nose, or other feature should be clearly visible. Blurry, soft-focus, motion-blurred, or digitally distorted images may not provide enough information for a high-quality Pactile Expression.
Use Good Lighting
Choose even lighting whenever possible.
Avoid harsh shadows and strong reflections.
Keep surrounding objects, fur, and other obstructions from covering important details.
A camera flash may help reduce shadows and reveal fine texture when used appropriately.
Submit Original, High-Quality Images
Whenever possible, upload the highest-resolution original image available.
Please avoid applying filters, beauty effects, AI-generated modifications, or edits that change the natural shape or texture of the feature unless specifically requested by Textured Memories.
Verify Multiple Images
If submitting several photographs, confirm that every image belongs to the same pet and case.
3. Understanding the Finished Pactile
Every Pactile is a custom tactile Expression - not an exact physical cast.
Textured Memories uses the supplied images and reference information to create a dimensional interpretation of the pet's unique features.
Our artists may make adjustments to:
Relief depth and texture
Cropping and feature isolation
Edges and fine details
Color and finish
Overall composition and manufacturability
These refinements help create a beautiful, recognizable, tactile keepsake.
Because Pactiles are created from photographic or other supplied source material, the finished product may differ from the original photograph, the pet's physical anatomy, or display samples.
The level of detail we can reproduce depends on the quality and completeness of the submitted images.
4. Production Errors & Submission Accuracy
We take pride in our work and want every order to be accurate. Understanding the difference between production errors and submission errors helps us resolve issues fairly and efficiently.
