Brand Representation Standards

1. Purpose

To establish approved naming, trademark use, and consumer-facing terminology

2. Required Use of the PactileTM Name

These standards protect consistent presentation of PactileTM products while giving Partners practical language for

service menus, websites, displays, price lists, social media, and family communications.

3. Approved Product References

Consumer-facing written references to products supplied through the Pactile program must include the word Pactile.

The first prominent reference in a page, document, display, or similar material should use PactileTM; subsequent

references in the same material may use Pactile without the TM symbol. Partners may add an approved descriptive term

after Pactile to make the product immediately understandable to families.

4. Approved Descriptive Language

Approved references include: PactileTM Expression; PactileTM Paw Expression; PactileTM Nose Expression; PactileTM Body

Expression; PactileTM Print Expression; PactileTM Tactile Keepsake; PactileTM Textured Print; PactileTM Relief Print;

PactileTM Paw Keepsake; PactileTM Nose Keepsake; and PactileTM Custom Keepsake. Partners may request approval for

other descriptors that retain Pactile as the product identifier.

5. Terminology to Avoid in Consumer-Facing Marketing

Recommended process description: “Created by Textured Memories using a precision layered-ink process that builds

fine layers of ink into a tactile 2.5D surface.”

Recommended product description: “PactileTM Expressions transform your pet’s unique paw, nose, or other meaningful

feature into a dimensional tactile expression you can see and feel.”

Recommended short description: “A touchable, dimensional keepsake created from your pet’s unique paw, nose, or

other meaningful feature.”

6. Trademark Attribution and Brand Integrity

Partners also should not describe a Pactile as an “exact replica,” “identical reproduction,” or physical “cast” unless TM

has specifically approved that claim for the product. Pactiles are tactile expressions created from supplied source

material and may include artistic and production refinement.

Partners should not primarily market or describe Pactiles as “3D prints,” “3D printed paws,” “UV prints,” “UV printed,”

“inkjet prints,” “raised ink prints,” “plastic prints,” or similar equipment/process-first terminology. These terms

describe manufacturing equipment or individual production steps rather than the finished Pactile product. Technical or

internal discussion of production methods is not restricted by this provision.

7. Review of Partner-Created Materials

For longer-form partner marketing materials where reasonably practical, use the attribution: “PactileTM is a trademark

of Textured Memories, LLC.” Partner may not remove the Pactile name from an authorized TM product description,

rename a Pactile as Partner’s own branded product, or imply that Partner manufactures Pactiles. Partner may identify

itself as the provider of the memorial service and Textured Memories as the creator/manufacturer of the Pactile.

TM may reasonably request correction of partner-created materials that misuse the Pactile name, materially

misdescribe the product or process, or create a misleading impression about product origin or characteristics. Partner

will make reasonable corrections promptly after notice.
